RIVER SCHELDT MISHAP THE VILLE D'AMIENS (Received February 8. 1.5 a.m.) ANTWERP. April 7 The French steamer Ville d'Amiens, inward bound from Sydney, is ashore in the River Scheldt, Belgium. The Ville d'Amiens is a steamer of
6975 tons. After loading at Brisbane slio left Sydney on February 22 for Dunkirk, via Papeete and Suez. She is under the command of Captain Girurcl. She is owned by the Messageries Maritime.
