SLUM CLEARANCE
MOVEMENT IN BRITAIN FIVE-YEAR PLAN DECREED (Received April 7. 5.15 p.m.) LONDON, April 7 The Ministry of Health has decreed a five-year plan for the abolition of slums in England and Wales. The authorities point out that the present conditions are favourable. Thej call upon all local bodies to prepare plans for rehousing people before 1938.
