PROGRAMME FOR EASTER CONTESTS IN AUCKLAND " LOCAL TEAMS SELECTED A comprehensive programme of sports events will be contested by representatives of the four university centres during the inter-university tournament to bo held in Auckland at Easter. Arrangements for the. billeting of about 160 visitors from the South, who will ai rive on Good Friday morning, ha\o been completed, and, if the weather is favourable, a successful meeting is assured. On Easter Saturday tennis matches will be played, and in the afternoon an eight-oar rowing race will be held on a course fronting the waterfront road. In the evening the boxing contests wdl bo completed in the Town Hall. Monday w ill bo devoted to athletics and basketball, while in the evening the swimming championships will bo held at the Tepid Baths. The tennis finals will take
place on Tuesday. The shooting competitions will be conducted prior to the main tournament.
