Fijis were unchanged on sale. Bananas sold readily at rates a shade higher than at the beginning of the week. Tree tomatoes were somewhat dull of sale, while Cape gooseberries were hard to quit. Lemons were in short supply and brought higher values. Te Kauwhata grapes sold freely at a slight advance, but hothouse were slow to move.

Heavy supplies of Pukekohe potatoes were again available and tho price shaded by about 3d a bag. A lino of good quality potatoes also came, forward from Ohakuno. There "were fair supplies of cabbages and cauliflowers, which sold at higher rates. There was an over-supply of beans and pumpkins and the former dropped sharply in price. Lettuce met with an improved demand, but celery was slow of sale. Owing to the heavy supplies, onions remained low in value. There was a heavy supply of poultry.
