WEEK-END WEATHER
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland. —A very light wind, varying between south-east and north, and con tinuous overcast weather, prevailed dur ing the week-end. Tho conditions vcrtf exceptionally close and humid. Light ram was experienced early on Saturday morn ing and also yesterday morning, but last evening tho showers were more frequent and heavier. There was very little movement of'tho barometer, which was steady at 29.80 in. last night. ■ Wellington.—The weather was fine and warm in Wellington over the week-end. On Saturdav a light southerly breeze at times caused a slight haziness over the harbour and the air was moist in evening. Yesterday was beautifully fine, although fog lay over the harbour en trance and eastern bays. / Christchurch.—'The weather during week-end was fine, but yesterday t ei® was a fair amount of cloud. The win was from the north-east on both days.The barometer was practically stea ) about 29.90 in. Dunedin.—ldeal summer weather F e vailed over the week-end, the sun shining from a clear sky. The barometer steadv on Saturday evening, the ieac g being 30.00 in. It fell a little yesterday, an? at 4 p.m. read. 29.85 in..
