CONCERT AND DANCE

THE CONCLUDING FUNCTION

The round of festivities in connection with the annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand,

which has this year been held in Auckland, was brought to a happy conclusion at an At Homo hold in the Town Hall last evening. The hall presented a most attractive sight, the stage being banked with blue hydrangea bushes and green foliage, while clumps of bamboo foliage were placed at the entrances. Twisted fosteons of silver tinsel were suspended from the ceiling and gallery, and hanging baskets of ferns were to be seen nt intervals round the walls. Dancing was the chief feature of the entertainment provided for the guests, t hp music being supplied by the Peter Pan orchestra. Carnival hats, novelties and streamers were distributed and added to the merriment. Much of the success of the evening was due to the work of an energetic committee under Mr. Wilfred Wright.
