PENITENT TRIBESMEN

RINGLEADERS SURRENDERED

(Received November 21. p.m.) CALCUTTA, Nov. 23

The Darra Khel tribesmen who were concerned in the recent revolt in the. southern province of Afghanistan have surrendered tho three, ringleaders and sent a deputation to King Nadir Shah seeking the. pardon of the 150 men captured by Afghan troops arid taken to Kabul for trial.

The area now is quiet, but aeroplanes are reconnoitring to prevent a recurrence of trouble.
