COVERAGE WITH GOLD SYSTEM BEING MAINTAINED OTTAWA, No v - 23 ' Canada has no intention of abandoning the pold coverage for its paper money, the Prime Minister, Mr. J>. B. Bennett, announced in the House of Commons today. "Since 1921 Canada technically has-not been on the gold standard, but covers its notes with gold.
