CHARGE AGAINST YOUTH

REMAND FOR WEEK GRANTED

[BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] LEVIN, Thursday The youth Roy Easton, aged 16 years, was charged before justices in the Levin Court to-day with the murder of his brother, John Spencer Seabury Easton, aged 20. The case is a sequel to the shooting tragedy on their father's farm early on Tuesday evening. The police were granted a remand to Wellington for seven days. It was stated that a further remand would probably be necessary. Prior to the Court proceedings an inquest into the death of John Easton was opened and was adjourned until December 9.
