PASCOE CUP COMPETITION
AMENDMENTS TO RULES
Several amendments to the rules of tho Pascoe Cup competition for business houses were made at the annual meeting of those interested last evening. The chief amendments. were as follows:
"No A grade player who has occupied a position on the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's senior singles ladder during the immediate past season, or for the present season, or the first four A grade players in teams competing in the A grade competition shall be eligible to compete." " The ball for' use in the Pascoe Cup competition be the brand of ball approved by the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association for hard court play. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. J. Pascoe; chairman, Mr. G. S. Webster; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Storry; committee, Messrs H. Barrett, J. B. MacPherson, C. Smith, G. Wade. It was decided that the next tournament should commence on February 6.
