THEFT OF JEWELLERY

ARTICLES VALUED AT £2BO

The. theft of a quantity of jewellery, valued at £2BO, and £4 in money was carried out on Wednesday evening in premises occupied by Mr. P. A. Richards at 586 Dominion Road. Mr. Richards owns a pork butcher's shop, and there are dwelling rooms above the shop premises. Thieves entered the building through a back window between 7.30 and 10.30 and ransacked the building. The jewellery, among which were pieces valued a s heirlooms, and the money were taken from an attache case in a bedroom, the thieves leaving the case.
