SUCCESSOR TO MR. RHODES

Cabled advice has been received from London that the board of directors is appointing Mr. R. 0. Milligan to be the local director and attorney of the Waihi Gold Mining Company, Limited, in place of the late Mr. Charles Rhodes. Mr. Milligan received his education at the Remuera school, the Auckland Grammar School, the Technical College and later took the professional accountants' examination at the Auckland University College. Subsequently he attended the School of Mines at Waihi. For the- past 12 years he has been closely associated in tha New Zealand management of the Waihi Company, and three and a-half years aq® became the manager of the Mines Trust.
