INSPECTION OF CADETS
WHANGAREI HIGH SCHOOL

The annual insoection of the Whangarei High School cadet battalion was carried out this morning by Colonel J. E. Duigan, officer commanding the Northern Command, accompanied by Major A. D. .lack, of Whangarei, and tho principal of the school, Mr. A. R. Ryder, and members of the Board of Governors.
Colonel Duigan expressed his satisfaction at the marked improvement since last year's inspection • and was particularly pleased with tho work of the Lewis and Vickers gun squad».
