CAUCASUS COMMUNISTS
SOVIET'S PURGING CAMPAIGN
(Received November 22, 5.45 p.m,) Times Cable LONDON/Nov. 22 The Riga correspondent of the Times states that six Communist officials on collective farms have been sentenced to death by a special tribunal in the Caucasus. These will be the first executions under the campaign for purging the Government service.
Hitherto those executed have been chiefly non-Communists.
