An inquiry into the affairs of the Barking Town Amateur Soccer Club has revealed that 19 players received remuneration, contrary to the Football Association s amateur rule. All have been declared professionals.

The financial secretary of the club has been suspended from further participation in football or football management. He has appealed. Four other club officials have been censured for not. exercising proper control over the club's finances.

The inquiry was held by a joint committeo of the Essex and London Football Associations.
