WOMEN'S DIVISION
The main features of the recent meeting of the I'utaruru Women's Division were the sweet pea exhibition arranged by Mrs. Van Veen and Miss Marshall's address on Women's Division matters. In the former the judge placed Mrs. Smith first, Mrs. Truss second, Mrs. W. Baldwin third and Mrs. T. Fitness fourth. Miss Marshall in her address welcomed the newly-formed Waotu branch, and followed with an ..interesting explanation of the work and aims of the division in general. In addition to the usual exchange a quantity of goods from the Blind Institute were offered for sale. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Yandle, Shine, Coupe and Tulloch.
