ACCIDENT AT FLAXMILL

HAND CAUGHT IN MACHINE

An accident befel Mr. James Bejonx, aged 28, while working at a flaxmill near Shannon. He was working with a scutching machine when his right hand became caught, all the fingers being torn off. Mr. Bejoux was taken to the Palmerston North Hospital, where an operation was performed. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
