WARKWORTH, Tuesday

A fire broke out in tho residence of Mr. Itoy Ellis, at Kaipara Flats, about eight o'clock last evening, and quickly obtained a strong hold, Mrs. Ellis barely had timo to get her four children out of the nursery. Tho building comprisod about eight rooms and part of it was nearly 70 yoars old, having been erected for tho late Mr. Robert Phillips. Tho liouso burned fiercely and nothing could bo done to save it. Practically nothing was saved from the flames.
