BUILDING OF TRAMCARS
Tho progress of the Transport Board's programme in regard to constructing new tramcars was outlined by tho chairman, Mr. J. A. 0.. Allum, at a meeting of tho board yesterday. Mr. Allum stated that of a total of 50 vehicles which had been authorised, tho majority had been completed, four were in hand at present and five remained .to be started. Tho work on the cars at present under construction Would bo expedited, as tho board had ample capital iu hand to complete tho work.
