CHILDREN'S GYMKHANA

EVENTS AT EAST TAMAKI

Some splendid horaomanship by children was witnessed at a juvenile gymkhana held nt East Tamaki on Saturday, under the patronage of the Pakurangqj Hunt Club. Tho gymkhana was arrangedl by Mrs. P. H. Smith, wife of the club's huntsman. Over 40 ponies took pari in the grand parade. Tho judge was Dr. A. McGregor Grant, the prizes being presented by Lady SinclairLockhart. A cup for the champion pony, donated by Dr. A. Eisdell Moore, was won by Master jN'ocl Taylor. The young riders were addressed by Mr. 11. Bullock Webster, master of tho hunt, who dealt with tho caro of horses and points to be observed in riding The awards are:—
