FIRE DAMAGES CAR
BACK-FIRING OF ENGINE
Owing to the back-firing of the engine, a motor-car owned by Northern Automobiles, Limited, and driven by Mr. R. M. Stevens, of Dell' Avenue, Remuera, caught fire in Orakei Road on Saturday afternoon. The central fire brigade proceeded to the scene, the fire being subdued with an extinguisher. Damage was caused to paintwork and wiring, but the car was driven away.
