MOUNT DAVID SLUICING

RETURN OF 17 OUNCES

The secretary of the Mount David Sluicing Company, limited (Reefton), advises a return from the wash-up on "Wednesday, November 16, of 17oz. of gold for 4j days' work.

NOKOMAI OPERATIONS

GOOD PROGRESS WITH PLANT

In a report for the half-year to September 30, the directors of the Nokomai Gold Company, Limited (Central Otago), state that the various contracts for plant and equipment had all been let, and exceptional progress had been made by the various contractors in the execution of their contracts. It is expected that the plant will be operating next month. At the date of the report, there were no calls in arrears. Tho company had secured a prospecting licence for an additional 39 acres (approximately) of land adjoining the claim. In the opinion of .the company's advisers, this portion should prove of very great value. An official opening is to be arranged.

MAHAKIPAWA GOLDFIELDS

RETURN OF 120 Z. LAST WEEK

The mine manager of Mahakipawa Goldfields, Limited (Marlborough), has advised that the wash-up for the week produced 12oz. alluvial gold.
