Martin, Mayor of Northcote, who returned yesterday from Wellington, whciP, together with other North Shore representatives, ho interviewed the actingMinister of Employment, the Hon. A. One tiling made clear by the Minister was that there was no intention ot sending into camp men with a family of three or more, nor even that such men should submit to medical examination, unless they volunteered for camp. Although the deputation failed to obtain hll that it asked, the assurance was given that no married men would be required fro enter camp until after Christmas.
