OVERSEAS LEAGUE AT HOME

VISIT TO NORFOLK ISLAND An informal talk upon a visit to Norfolk Island was given by Miss A. It. Quaylo to members of tho Overseas League yesterday afternoon. A brief history of tho discovery by Captain Cook was given, and the natural beauties of the island described. One of tho points of interest there is the beautiful little church which was built for the Melanesian Mission in commemoration of the lato Bishop Patterson. The products and industries of the island were referred to, and at the close of her talk questions were answered by the speaker. Tea was afterwards served by tho house committee.
