DECREASE IN RENTALS
THE DILWORTH BUILDING FROM £10,602 TO £5049 [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL REPORTER] WELLINGTON, Friday As an indication how the depression had affected rentals, Mr. W. P. Endean (Government —Parnell) cited in tho House of Representatives to-day the case of the rent roll of tho Dilworth Building in Auckland. Rentals dropped from £10,602 in 1928 to £5049 this year. That drop of 50 per cent, ho said, was probably a good index of the general decrease.
