PRICES AT FRANKTON HEAVY YARDINGS RECEIVED [from our own cob respondent] HAMILTON. Tuesday All classes of stock came forward in very lioavy numbers at the weekly Frankton stock sale to-day, the i ggregate yarding being the biggest for son e time. Competition was slightly easier .'or fat ewes, but for wethers and hogget 3 last week s quotations were maintained. Spring lambs were yarded in excess of buyers' requirements, and as a result values declined by 2s or 3s j a head. Fat cattle did not meet with a very ready sale and a further slight decline in values was recorded. Store cattle maintained late rales. An extra heavy yarding of both fat and store pigs sold al< , slightly easier values. CLEARANCE AT KAIHERE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports having held a clearing sale at Ivaihere on account of Messrs. Tiszard Brothe-s. There was a, fair attendance of buyers, but the bidding was not brisk. The whole herd of 52 cows, however, made the satisfactory average of £7 15s.
