HOWICK CLUB'S OPENING Til spite of the showery weather, the Howick Lawn Tennis Club held its official opening on Saturday afternoon, in (lie presence of a large attendance, many visitors from other clubs be ng present. Tho president, Mr. F. P. Rishworth, in declaring the lawns open, complimented the club on its fine position und tho improvements made to the playing area, and surroundings during the winter months. He also extended a welcome to the visitors nnrt hoped the club woulci have n successful season.
