SHOTOVER REEFS RICH STONE REPORTED : Tho superintendent of the Shotover Reefs Development Company (Central Otago) advised last Fruity that rich stone had been intercepted in the top drive of Wilson's reef, where development work was commenced at the beginning of tha month. REPORTS OF MANAGERS Golconda (Thames).— During the week the south cross,cut was advanced Sit., a total of 42ft. A small leader about 2in. wide was passed through and has a promising appearance. We have met a break in the face but are not; yet through it. We started a crosscut in the north drive through- tho • break into the footwall country and advanced 9ft., a total of 9ft. The country is of 'lit good description, and according to the plan the reef formation should soon be to hand. Progress was slower, as - we had to timber this drive where started to open out.
