A SWEET DISH

Raisins, as most housewives know, are very nutritious. This tart will be appreciated by people who like their " sweets " to be really sweet. Make some short pastryi Roll it out rather thinly. Line a round tin—the sort used for sponge sandwiches —with it. Fill with stoned raisins which have been cooked in a very little water in the oven until they are quite soft and all pumped out. Stir in enough honey to make a syrupy liquid, but it should not be at all " runny." Cover with another thin layer of pastry. Bake and serve hot cut in wedge-shaped pieces. A little lemon juice can be used, if desired, to take off the sweetness and give it a tang for those who do not like very sweet dishes.
