ECLIPSE OF THE SUN
PHOTOGRAPHS OF CORONA ■\ QUEEEC, Sept. I Mr. E. J. Kennedy, secretory to • the Royal Astronomical Society, -reveals-that the solar shadow bands, the existence of which was often doubted, were photographed and measured during the recent eclipse at the pitch of totality. Eight exposures of the corona show an 865,000mile flame projection into space.
