DAFFODIL SHOW
EXHIBITS AT CILEVEDON A fine range of excellent blooms was exhibited at the Daffodil Slow at Clevedon yesterday, held under the auspices of the Clevedon Presbyterian Church. Entries were received from growers :from Papakura, Manurewa, Papatoetoe and Auckland, as well as from the Clevedon district, and the champion hlooms were of outstanding quality. The judge was Mr. H. J. B. Bull, of Remuera. Champion blooms were asi follows:—Trumpet, J. H. Braithwaite, "Hallmark." Incomparabilis: "W. "Wilcox. "Militant." Barrii: Miss M. I, Waters, "Sunrise." Leedsii: D. M. Bryan,, "Silverplane." Double; Mrs, C. C. Munro. "Sulphur-Pheonix." Points prizes were won as follows:—Cut flowers: Daffodils, C. R. Crispe; beet collection erring flowers, Mrs. li\ Burgoyne and Mrs. M. Wilson (equal). Floral artistry: Mrs. C. W. Stephens. Girls under 18 years: Miss Nita Munro. Children's exhibits: Ruth Munro.
