TO-DAY'S LARGE FIELDS BURWOOD HANDICAP HORSES REVIEW OF THE PROSPECTS The New Brighton Trotting Club will hold its first meeting of the season to-day and the fields all round are large. Several horses have recent form to recommend them and some who recorded fast times at Addington last month are. still on good marks. The principal events, the Bunyood and Wainoni Handicaps, will be contested by horses of very useful calibre, while the presence of Free Logtm in the Electric Handicap, in saddle, will lend some interest to the racing for Aucklanders.
