NEW SALAD
This is a new salad which, being simple, cheap and full of the right kind of vitamins, seems to be worth trying out. Tt is made of alternate layers of cold boiled potatoes, very thinly sliced, and raw spinach leaves carefully washed and dried and picked from their stalks. The usual —or some favourite —salad Itlressing added penerously to each layer. A dash of garlic, or a sprinkling of finely chopped spring onions, improves tho flavour considerably.
