VARIETY OF ATTRACTIONS FOOTBALL AND OTHER MATCHES A representative Association football match is included in a varied programme of sporting attractions which has been arranged for the week-end. North Auckland arc to play Auckland at Blandford Park, and as a curtain-raiser a replay for the Falcon Cup between Glen limes and Ponsonby will be held. Senior grade A Rugby football games are to be played, the draw including Training Collect againat Grammar, and Manukan versus' Ponsonby at Eden Park. There are also the grade B games. At League the senior grade games at Carlaw Park are Marist , versus Devonport and Ponsonby against City. The final match for the Devonport Shield contest is the main fixture at hockey, the St. Luke's and University teams, which are equal, meeting. Ag a curtain-raiser, Somerville will play Mount Eden.

The golf fixtures include a C grade tournament at the Auckland Club. There is the first round of the championship at the Titirangi Club, a C grade match at Maungakiekie, the second round of the championships at Glendowie, and Akarana. has arranged the qualifying round of the championships. Amateur athletic events, which have been arranged to take place this afternoon, are the Victor Ludorum Cup competitions by the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, and runs of varying distances by the Calliope, Technical and Lynndale harriers. The sport of cycling i 3 represented by senior and junior races of 40 miles and 23 miles, fixed by the Auckland Centre and tho Auckland Club. At basketball thero is to bo a representative game between senior grade B and second grade representatives. Members of the Alpine Sports Club will participate in ' the "mystery hikers' excursion" by train to-molrrow, and the club's route is to bo different from that taken by the other hikers.
