CONTROL OF RESERVES
AREAS AT TE AROHA OFFER TO BOROUGH COUNCIL [from our own correspondent] TE AROHA. Fridny The control of 6conic reserves by the Te Aroha Borough Council has been approved by tho Hon. C. E. Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture. One reserve is an area of 103 acres of Crown land adjoining Tui Park Domain. Tho second reserve is an area of 110 acres. A strip of Crown land of about 13 acres, adjoining this scenic reserve, is to be handed over for a purpose not yet decided. Tho approval has been given subject to no objection from a mining point of view. The Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, stated that the offer was greatly appreciated and it would be referred to the Works Committee for report.
