MOLLISON'S DECISION

NO RETURN FLIGHT ACCEDES TO WIFE'S REQUEST NEW YORK. Aug. 31 A message from Sydney, Nova Scotia, states that Mr. J. A. Mollison to-day confirmed the news given out by his wife in that he has abandoned his plan to make a return flight to England. He will leave to-morrow bv aeroplane for Quebec, whence he will sail on September 3 by the Empress of Britain for England. Dr. Freeman McNeil, with whom Mr. Mollison is staying, said he could not recommend the airman to continue the Atlantic flight without at least three or four weeks' rest. Earlier Mr. Mollisbn had said : " it will depend largely on how 1 feel after a further rest here," when questioned as to whother ho would accede to the requests of his wife and friends to abandon the return flight. " I have been strongly influenced by cablegrams from my wife and Lord Wakefield, but the decision will depend upon how I feel. To-day I' feel better than 1 did yesterday."
