CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH Auckland.—After a fine mornirfg, rain set in at noon, the showers continuing until the middle of the afternoon, when thu weather cleared. It remained fine during the evening. Dunedin. —A squally wind from the north-west prevailed yesterday morning, but changed to the south-west later. The sky became overcast and conditions generally were unsettled. The barometer, which fell during the morning, was risiog last evening, and registered 29.95 in.
