BIRKENHEAD ARTS CLUB

DANCE AT NORTHCOTE Exponents of art in its various branches at Birkenhead have combined under the name of the Farrago Arts Club. Weekly meetings are held, and addresses already have been given by the president, Mr. A. M. Chisholm, the vice-president, the Rev. P. J. Wainwright, and Mr. J. G. Male. A dance was held this week under the auspices of the club at the Ambassadors Cabaret at Northcote, and proved very enjoyable. The music was supplied by an orchestra of selected musicians, and Mr. R. Salt played extras. The floor arrangements were in charge of Mr. Q. R. Creagh. The function was organised by a committee comprising Miss Tui Pearson, Miss Dick Audas, Messrs. W. R. D. Drummond (secretary), T. G. Male and F. M. Souster. Among others present were: —Mrs. Bland, Mrs. Pearson, Mrs. R. Dunn, Miss P. Wood, Miss V. Walker, Miss D. Drummond, Miss N. Chambers, Miss R.
