PROGRESS DURING SEASON THREE NEW CLUBS FORMED i Satisfaction with the results achieved during the past year was expressed by the chairman, Mr. L. Brighton, at the annual meeting o£ the Auckland Head Centre of the Royal Life-?aving Society last evening. The resignation of the president, Mr. A. Dicker, was accepted with regret, and it was decided to thank him for the valuable services he had rendered to the society. Mr. H. C. Sidford (Tf.kapuna Surf Club) raised an objection to a clause in the report giving the Milford Surf Club credit for having won the Williamson Shield and the Hawes Cup. However, on this occasion the Takapuna Club had not agreed to take part in the competitions, and yet th« Milford Club had apparently claimed to have won the trophies. Mr. A. B.
