ELECTION OF OFFICERS [FROM our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Thursday Tho rußekohe Municipal Band held its annual meeting last evenjng. Tho roport for the past year, presented by the president, Mr. F. H. Hewitt, mentioned that owing to the difficult times engagements for the band had not been as frequent as previously, but £36 had been earned. Tho balance-sheet showed accumulated funds amounting to £222. Officers elected were President, Mr. G. 11. Armstrong; vice-president, Mr. E. Moncrief; conductor, Mr. L. Holt; bandmaster, Mr. C. Deed; drum major, Mr. F. Ka.yner; band sergeant, Mr. 11. Sutton; corporal. Mr. K. Lakeman; lance-corporal, Mr. C. Lakeman; librarian, Mr. V. Madgwick; assistant-librarian, Mr. R. Beatson; citizens' representative on executive, Mr. J. ,H. Webb; playing members' representative on .executive, Mr. W. Barnett; playing members on bandsmen's committee, Messrs. Barnett and W. J.
