REPORTS OF MANAGERS Golden Dawn.—For the two weeks ended August 27 on No. 3 level stoping' has been carried on on No. 1- reef in four blocks with machines working three shifts. The reef here averages 2ft. wide and tho ore is of very fair value. The horses of mullock that have been in tho reef in the last few stopes are cutting out again. Stoping has plso been carried on on No. 3 reef in two blocks with machines working three shifts. Tha reef here averages 2ft. wide and looks well, the ore being of good value. In the intermediate level stoping has been carried on with machines working three shifts on No. 2 reef. The. reef here averages 4ft. wide and the ore is of fair value. The filling of stopes with surface mul-< lock is still being carried on.
