MATCHBOX LABELS
Sir, —In reference lo Herald article re above, I have a collection of considerably over 100, no two alike. These have taken me about two years to collect. Ten which I received from a friend in London I liad never seen before. One I got from a man-o'-war's man in Queen Street for the exchange of a full box of a common brand and 3d. I soak the boxes in cold water for a few hours and the thin label peels off; then paste these in an album. A book of these labels makes quite an interesting exhibit. J. Claiudgk.
