HAMILTON WEATHER
TEMPERATURES IN AUGUST The following temperatures were recorded in the hall of a private residence at Hamilton in August:—Highest day, 66 degrees; lowest day, 52; highest night, 60; lowest night, 35; average day, 59 j average night, 44. Tho average day temperature for August, 1931, was 56, and tho average night, 43. August records for the period 1922-1931: —Highest day, August 15, 1922, 66; lowest day, August 9, 1926, 51; highest night, August 5, 1926, 60; lowest night, August 2, 1930, 35. Rain fell in Hamilton on nine days last month, tho total fall being 1.44 in. The maximum fall was .34in. registered on August 15. In the corresponding month of last year 2.95 in. fell.
