ADMIRAL'S "UGLY" NAME
USE FOR STREET OPPOSED Admiral Bcnbow was a. great British sailor, but residents of Ne-lson Street, St. Heliers, do not want their street renamed after him. Twelve of them requested the City Council last evening either to mako no change or to call tho street Nile or Hood Street. They stated that they objected to "having their properties and addresses indicated by such an ugly name as Bcnbow Street." It. was stated that the decision already made would haVo to stand, but tho council agreed to inform tho writers that their request would be considered before the next special order altering street-names was adopted.. '
