GOVERNMENT REPORT The Government, meteorologist reported i last evening as follows:—The first oi % series of westerly depressions has been crossing the Dominion to-day. Indications are for moderate to strong westerly windi; generally and iij pieces reaching gal«V force; later becoming more northerly again. Seas rough on the west coast and off shore south of Castlepoint; moderate I to rather rough, north of Castlepoint. '' ' Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong west to north winds to gales and rough seas.
