SI The Treasury returns for the past week - show the ordinary expenditure for the financial year to date to be £502,886.859, and ordinary revenue £225,630,621. The deficit, therefore,, is £77,256,238, compared with a deficit one year ago of £82,146,423. The returns show that receipts from customs and excise to date have yielded £116,346,000, being an increase on' the previous year of £18,034,000.
