GOVERNMENT DESPERATE FORCING TAX PAYMENTS WARSAW. Aug. 31 The Polish Government, driven to desperation by the growing deficit due to the shrinkage of taxation revenue, has issued an emergency decree authorising tax collectors to enter a defaulter's house at any hour of the day or night and personally search him or his house for money and valuables •with which to discharge his obligation. "
