NORTH ROAD FROM GISBORNE.

Four bridges -are to be constructed at Waihuka on tho main northern rbad. The contract for tho work has been finalised, thus consummating endeavours that have been made by Gisborne people for many years. • Wben the bridges are completed they will form an all-weather link in the road between Gisborne, the Bay of Plenty and Auckland.,
