WOMAN'S TRAGIC DEATH.
VERDICT AT INQUEST.

The inquest into the death of Gertrude Hathawa Jull, aged 37, a married woman living at Timberlands, which occurred under tragic circumstances last Saturday, was held to-day by the district coroner, Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M. Evidence was given that the deceased was found fully dressed in the bathroom of her house with a gunshot- wound in the. head. There was no evidence of a struggle having taken place and a gun nf .22 calibre was lying near the body. The deceased had previously been suffering from nervous debility and had been under medical stipervison.
The coroner returned a verdict that the deceased died as the result of a gunshot wound self-inflicted and was in a state of nervous depression and ill-health at the time.
