BUSINESS OF PARLIAMENT.
DATE OF ORDINARY SESSION. DELAY UNTIL OCTOBER POSSIBLE. [BY TELEGRAI»H.—SPECIAL REPORTER.] WELLINGTON, Monday. An indication that the Government has given some consideration to the suggestion that ' the ordinary Parliamentary session should be held later in the year than June, the usual meeting time, was given by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, when questioned on the subject this evening. " Of course/the adoption of that course will depend on the progress made with legislation , this session," he said. " It, may be found at the close of this session that there will be no necessity to call Parliament together until considerably later than June." It is believed in the lobbies that the; next sessiou may not open until about October, after the return of the delegation from the Empire Economic Conference a'> Ottawa.
